Cookie policy
How we use cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site sets the cookies it needs to work. With your permission, it also uses analytics and marketing cookies. We ask the first time you visit, nothing optional is set until you choose, and you can change your mind at any time from "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page.
Essential cookies
These keep the site working, so they don't need your consent.
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* |
Protects our forms against cross-site request forgery | Until you close your browser |
.AspNetCore.Mvc.CookieTempDataProvider |
Carries the "thanks, we've got it" message to the page you see after sending a form | Until you close your browser |
cookie_consent |
Remembers your cookie choice | Up to six months (Safari clears it after seven days) |
Analytics cookies
If you accept them, Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, shows us which pages people visit and how they find us, so we can improve the site. It doesn't tell us who you are.
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Tells visits from different browsers apart | Two years |
_ga_ followed by our ID |
Keeps track of a visit | Two years |
Marketing cookies
If you accept them, the LinkedIn Insight Tag measures how our LinkedIn adverts perform and lets us show our adverts on LinkedIn to people who've visited this site. It sets these cookies on this site:
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
li_fat_id |
Links a visit to a click on one of our LinkedIn adverts | 30 days |
li_giant |
Links a visit to one of our LinkedIn adverts | Seven days |
oribili_user_guid |
Counts unique visitors for LinkedIn's website analytics | One year |
ln_or |
Records that LinkedIn's analytics have run today | One day |
LinkedIn also sets cookies on its own domain, such as bcookie, lidc, li_sugr, UserMatchHistory and AnalyticsSyncHistory, which last from a day to a year. LinkedIn's cookie table lists them all.
Changing your choice
Use "Cookie settings" at the foot of any page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics and marketing cookies set on this site's own domain. Cookies LinkedIn sets on its own domain can be cleared in your browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the essential ones may stop our forms working.
